1 Watson’s Pepperjack
2 Red onion
2 Sandwich bread
150 ml Red wine - Wine pairing suggestion: A toi Nous
1 Bay leave
Pinch of Salt
Clean and cut the onions into chiffonade.
Fry onions in olive oil. Add sugar, wine, bay leave and a pinch of salt.
Cook it for 20 minutes until it gets juicy and tender.
Cut the pepperjack in triangles and bild the sandwich with the caramelized onion
