The Sant Andreu is a plant-based cheese aged with plant-based chorizo. This new creation has been inspired by the traditional Spanish smoky sausage. During the aging process, the fermentation gives an umami flavor to the cheese and really enhances the other ingredients. To put the cherry on top, it's coated with poppy seeds, giving it an iconic look.
Veggie Karma is based in Barcelona. They operate as a small family business, running an ethical, environmentally friendly, ecological, gluten-free, vegan enterprise. To be even more sustainable, they decided to reduce their use of cashew by using a local ingredient: lupin beans.
